Missional Communities are groups of disciples of varying ages and backgrounds who live intentionally to know Christ and make Him known in their local contexts. By multiplying these communities, we aim to reach into every neighbourhood, creating spaces where people can encounter Jesus in authentic, relational ways. These communities serve as hubs of discipleship and mission, growing organically as they invest in their local areas.
As disciples are made and communities flourish, our prayer is that some of these missional communities will grow into church plants, rooted in their local context and equipped to reach their unique location. We envision a network of churches across the Wirral, each carrying the DNA of Village Church but uniquely tailored to their community.
This strategy isn’t about building a central hub or drawing people to one place—it’s about sending disciples out. It’s about living as Jesus did, meeting people where they are. We believe that by saturating the Wirral with disciples and missional communities, the gospel will spread naturally and powerfully through relationships and everyday life.
A place where real life and faith collide, where disciples grow in knowing Christ and live out His mission in the ordinary, everyday moments of life. They’re not about perfection or having all the answers. Instead, they’re about walking together in this journey of life, learning to follow Jesus more deeply, and sharing His love in the places He’s already put us—our neighbourhoods, workplaces, and beyond.
